Dr. He Gen

Dr. He is a professor of State Key Laboratory of Aquaculture Nutrition, Ministry of Agriculture, Ocean University of China. He was awarded Scientific and Technological Innovation Leading Talents Award of the National Ten Thousand Plan and the Excellent Young Scholars Award of the National Natural Science Foundation. He has been working on the regulation of protein metabolism in fish and new protein sources for aquafeed. He received his B.Sc, MSc and PhD from Shandong University, Ocean University of China and University of Illinois, respectively. He has published 37 research articles in peer-reviewed journals including Nature, Nature Materials, The Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry, American Journal of Physiology-Endocrinology and Metabolism etc.
