Dr. Jeff Huang joined Auburn University as an assistant professor in November 2017. He was tenured and promoted to associate professor in 2023. He earned his D.V.M. from National Taiwan University and his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He continued his training as a postdoctoral fellow at UCSF and then NIDDK, NIH. Dr. Huang’s lab uses mouse animal models, molecular biology approaches as well as genome-wide analyses to study the regulatory mechanism of the development of endocrine organs. The current projects use lineage tracing and next-generation sequencing to understand the genome-wide control of adrenal gland growth and development.
