Dr. Zhan Yin is a senior principle investigator at Center of Molecular and Cellular Biology of Aquatic Organism in Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB), Chinese Academy of Sciences, Assistant Director of IHB and Vice Chairman of the academic board of IHB. Dr. Yin has been studied on fish molecular endocrinology regarding endocrine regulation of fish metabolism, somatic growth, and reproduction mainly with zebrafish and cultured carps as research models. His laboratory has also been working on the aquatic models for endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) assessment. Dr. Yin has been awarded with "the Distinguished Young Scientists award by the National Natural Science Foundation" (2009), "Leader of the Innovation Team of the Fish Biology and Biotechnology of Aquaculture by the Chinese Ministry of Sciences and Technology" (2014), and listed in "Ten Thousand Talents Plan of the Organization Department of the Central Committee of China Communist Party"(2016) etc. In recent 10 year period, Dr. Yin has published more than 30 first-author or corresponding-author research reports on the academic journals, such as Nat. Med.、PNAS、Cell Reports、Human Mol. Genetics、Mol. Cell. Biol.、Scientific Reports、Endocrinology、Biol.Reprod. etc. with more than 1000 citations. Dr. Yin is now a a member of editorial board of PLoS ONE, and an associate editor for Frontiers in Experimental Endocrinology.
